Seeds & Habitat for Humanity

The Seeds have been hard at work the last few weeks establishing themselves as community leaders and volunteers.

For three days and two nights the group participated in Habitat for Humanity’s  Shackathon. The group decorated a shack on the quad and established shifts for members to stay in it and spend the night.

Executive Co-director Mat Mazer and Seed Dylan Gans even participated in Habitat’s auction as part of the Shackathon festivities, auctioning themselves off for dates.

Though Shackathon wrapped up on Friday, 9/26, the Seeds wasted no time finding other ways to engage in the Syracuse community, spending Saturday  morning (9/27) beautifying Elmwood Park.
